Once upon a time
there was a naive girl
who thought she fell in love
tripping head over heels over him

She thought he was cute
she thought he was funny too
and being naive as she was
she hoped he liked her too

Day by day
she kept wishing
one day he'll realize
how much she liked him
but he never did

Only now she realizes
she never fell in love
she only liked him for his looks
She tried
tried so hard to stop
tried to forget
but he was her drug
and she was addicted
she couldn't push him away

Until now
broken pieces still remain
some scattered
blown away by the wind
her heart is mending
it's healing slowly
she may look okay
but inside she's empty

This may sound cliche
this may sound overly dramatic
but the girl is me
and I miss him badly

Now you know
that he was never mine
and I was never his
I don't like him anymore
but I'll never stop thinking about him
